The Mudra Education Trust launched the Merit Scholarship for Arts and Commerce Students with the goal of supporting deserving arts and commerce students financially so they can attend prestigious Indian institutions to receive the best higher education. Under this scholarship, students after completion of their 12th or Higher Secondary/Diploma / equivalent exam and aspiring to study undergraduate or graduate degrees in arts and commerce groups are eligible to receive awards of up to INR 3,00,000 each year to help with their educational costs. Any scholarship programme must have as its primary goal supporting the education of worthy students.

A merit-based scholarship, in particular, is designed to motivate students who have demonstrated academic excellence to continue their studies. It encourages individuals to achieve their goals and serves as a reward for them. The programme also provides the chosen applicants with mentorship opportunities, building a strong network of young academicians.

This Mudra Scholarship programme is designed to assist students who are majoring in arts and commerce at the level 12 / equivalent and aspiring to study undergraduate courses in India. The aptitude exam and interview process are used to choose the academics.

The students who have passed class 12 / diploma/equivalent must have received at least 50 % of marks in their class 12 board exam.

Eligibility Criteria to get the Scholarship

Students who are interested in applying for this scholarship must meet the following requirements. They should:

  • Be a citizen of India
  • Have passed the Class XII board exams / Diploma / Equivalent Exam with a minimum score of 50%
  • Benefits: 25,000 to 3,000,000 Indian Rupees (one time)

Scanned Marks Memos (each qualifying examination from Secondary School Certificate examination to the latest qualification)

  • Income Certificate (Salary Statement, IT Returns)
  • A passport-sized photo
  • Aadhar Card scanned copy
  • Caste Certificate (if applicable)
