Eligibility Criteria

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS

For Engineering Scholarship: The candidate must have received 50 percent in all subjects (Mathematics as a compulsory subject in 11th and 12th standard) in the final examination of 10+2 (Class- XII) or its equivalent, referred to as the qualifying examination.

For Medical Scholarship: The candidate must have received 50 percent in all subjects in the final examination of 10+2 (Class- XII) or its equivalent, (Biology as a compulsory subject in 11th and 12th standard) referred to as the qualifying examination.

For UG Scholarship: The candidate must have received 50 percent in all subjects in the final examination of 10+2 (Class- XII) or its equivalent, referred to as the qualifying examination.

For PG Scholarship: The candidate must have received 50 percent in all subjects in the final examination of UG / Bachelors program or its equivalent, referred to as the qualifying examination.

Students who will be taking the consecutive final year examinations (12th / final year of UG/ Bachelors) in 2022 may also apply provisionally for the Scholarship Exam in 2022.

LIMITATION ON AGE

Candidates born on or after October 1, 1996 are eligible to apply for the Engineering / Medical/ UG/ Bachelors Scholarship tests - 2022. The upper age restriction is eased by 5 years for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Physically Handicapped (PH) applicants, meaning SC, ST, and PH candidates born on or after October 1, 1991 are also eligible.

Candidates born on or after October 1, 1990 are eligible to apply for the PG programs Engineering / Medical/ other programs of Scholarship tests - 2022. The upper age restriction is eased by 5 years for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Physically Handicapped (PH) applicants, meaning SC, ST, and PH candidates born on or after October 1, 1991 are also eligible.

  • Only the date of birth as it appears on the Secondary Education Board/University certificate is legitimate.
  • Note that General and OBC candidates have three attempts total, whereas SC/ST/PH candidates have five attempts total.
